You and I have a lot in common. For starters, we’ve been through one of the toughest things a man can go through....divorce. Another thing we have in common is that we have busy lives with careers and hobbies and some of us kids. A lot of us are high income guys. Finally, and most importantly, we both don’t want to settle for mediocrity, we want to become better versions of ourselves.

My Story

I had a pretty traditional upbringing. I was raised in Texas to a great family, went to college at Texas A&M, and started my career in large commercial construction in California.  After overcoming a lay off during a poor economy, I met a girl in my mid 20’s and couldn’t picture my life without her, so I married her. After 2 kids and 7 years we divorced….it’s unfortunate but half of marriages end in divorce and we as men usually get a pretty raw deal out of it.

Instead of getting down on my circumstances I used newfound time during that big life transition as an opportunity to become a better version of myself. I did a lot of reading, writing, and reflecting. I went to therapy (which is something I encourage every man to consider. I know as men we have a lot of pride but seeking help when needing it is a very manly thing). I started watching YouTube videos on dating, starting working out like a mad man, and pondered what side hustles I could do to keep myself busy and productive. I even started driving for door dash as a guy that made 6 figures.

I think there’s a lot of untapped strength and power in getting like-minded, high value men connected around the challenges we face. Our goal is to give you content that expedites your growth and ultimately help you reach your potential as a man. Today is the first day of the rest of your life. Are you going to spend it on the couch sulking or are you going to have the self-discipline to create the life you’ve always wanted?
